The Super Garden story began with a love for the product

It all started on a sunny Saturday morning when Laura – the founder of Super Garden – noticed her children picking out the freeze-dried berries from their breakfast cereal first. In that moment, a simple yet visionary idea was born: why not replace sweets with natural, nutritious berries?

While searching for such snacks on the market, Laura realized – there were no alternatives. That’s when she discovered freeze-dried products, known for their unique benefits: natural ingredients, preserved nutrients, long shelf life, and light weight.

This is how Super Garden was born – a business that started at a family breakfast table and grew into an internationally recognized innovator in healthy eating.

The company Geld Baltic, operating under the Super Garden brand, specializes in creating high-quality freeze-dried products designed for both everyday consumption and extreme conditions. Our products are used in survival kits, and are tailored for soldiers, hikers, expedition members, and even... astronauts!

In 2024, we won a European Space Agency (ESA) competition and are currently developing advanced solutions for astronaut nutrition. These are functional, biologically valuable snacks adapted to extreme environments – yet perfectly suitable for everyday life as well.

We have been granted an international patent (EP4061151) protecting our innovative snacks with enhanced biological value. These unique products bring together science, technology, and the best of nature – our patented BITES product has already earned global recognition.

The process

Lyophilization, also known as freeze-drying, is a high-end food preservation technology that removes water from food by first freezing it and then evaporating the moisture in a vacuum. This method preserves up to 98% of nutrients, along with the food’s original taste, color, and aroma – with no additives, preservatives, added sugar, or other unnecessary ingredients.

Thanks to its exceptional quality and low residual moisture, freeze-dried food can be stored for up to 20 years without losing its value. It's a great choice for both everyday snacking and long-term food storage.
